Account Answers

I just enrolled in a CFU course, why can’t I log in?

You will be able to log into your course the day your class starts, but not before. CFU offers structured online programs that provide accountability, interaction and promote completion.

I think I enrolled in a CFU course, but I am not sure?

If you have followed the enrollment process all the way through to the ’Commit Order Form’ button and clicked it, you are enrolled in your course. Shortly after, you should receive an email confirming your enrollment and preparing you for the class

When I enrolled into my CFU course, I received different dates. What is my start date?

Your class start date is in your welcome email. The other dates are for the live online webinars included within your curriculum.

I forgot my username/password.

When you attempt to access your program with the wrong username/password you will not be able to login, and the log in box will re-appear. At this point, click cancel and you will be re-directed to a page that will ask you to enter your email address–enter the email address which you have been receiving emails from us at.
You will then be able to retrieve your correct information.

Course Answers

Do I have to attend all of the live webinars?

If your CFU course includes Live Webinars, we not only highly encourage it; we feel it takes the curriculum to a deeper level for our students. If we COULD make it mandatory we would. The live webinars are your chance to ask questions and receive coaching/guidance from our team, and if you are not on the live webinars you will not be able to take advantage of the question and answer period.

We do understand that sometimes ’life’ happens and you will not be able to make the live webinar. We do record the live webinars, but do not guarantee that you will be able to watch it at a later date as we have no control over technological difficulties.

The module videos skip or don’t play all the way through.

Some internet servers are slower, or slow down at ’busy’ times making it longer for videos to load. To solve this, click on the video link in the module, click pause on the video and wait until the entire video loads before you click play. It is also possible that you may have too many internet connections in your house or internet café using up bandwidth, causing Module videos to skip. Being the sole person on the internet can help this.

I don’t own a webcam.

You can use a video camera, smart phone, flip cam, digital camera with video recording option or iPad. Also don’t be afraid to ask your friends or family if they could help you by borrowing theirs. Chances are you have someone who can help you with this.

How do we ’do’ this course?

Your class starts once you receive your first module via email. You click on the link in the email to access your module. Log in using the username and password you set up your account with. You will have 1 week to complete each module. The modules are sent out on the same day and time of each week. Your assignments are not considered to be complete until they are posted to the class page. Students who do not post their assignments or fully participate can be deactivated. CFU courses have a specific purpose–assisting people by educating and motivating them to achieve their goals. We get RAVE reviews from the students that complete, so we do our best to ensure that the students that do enroll complete and receive the most value!

Do I need to read the Catch Fire book before the Associates class begins or can I read it as we work through the course?

It is ideal to read the book before class, however; many of our students have found that reading the book while taking this class has been just as beneficial. Many of our students have found that it is a fast and easy read and our less avid readers have mentioned finishing the book in just a few days. The Associates degree is designed to assist you in making positive, permanent changes on a cellular level, it does this in correspondence with the Catch Fire book, however no matter which CFU course you are enrolled in, it is a must read.

I didn’t get the ’authentication’ e-mail, now what do I do?

Email us at: info@catchfireuniversity.com or call us toll free at: 1-800-825-7756. Your email provider or server has most likely ’blocked’ our email because it was sent from an automated server. You will need an alternate email address, Hotmail and Gmail accounts have the highest success receiving our emails. Be sure to include a convenient time to call you, your phone number and time zone so a member of our team can contact you and resolve this issue as quickly as possible

I don’t seem to be receiving the E-mails from Catch Fire?

First, please check your Spam or Junk filter. Second, make our address info@catchfireuniversity.com and returnmail@catchfireuniversity.com a safe contact in your email address book to help ensure delivery. MANY of our emails are delivered by an automated system, which many email accounts may BLOCK. We do our best to get them to you, however, yahoo.com is one of the worst for blocking our emails. If you have a yahoo account, please provide us a with different email account to use. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience.

 

Facebook Answers

How do I post a video on facebook?

When I post my video assignments on the Class Page can everyone (my FB friends) see them?

No. As long as you post while ON the private Class Page, your assignments remain private to you and your Classmates.

Why do classmates Videos show up on my FB Home Page News Feed?

You will notice that the Video Posts you are seeing will have a LOCK symbol beside them, as well as, the title of the Group Page above it. Only YOU and your classmates can see these posts. As long as everyone posts their assignments while ON the Class Page, they will be Private.

How do I get onto the Private Class Page?

Doug and Melanie Nelson will create the page a few days before your class begins. You will be sent an email with a link to your class page. Click the link and request to be added to the page. You will be officially added when an Administrator approves your request. The heading for your Class Page will show up on your Facebook HOME Page. It will be on the Left hand side under the heading ’Groups’. If you click on the group name, you will be directed onto the private page.

Are we allowed to advertise/promote our businesses on the class page?

No. We have a strict no advertising/promoting policy to ensure our students can enjoy a supportive learning environment.

I am not on Facebook, is that okay?

No. This curriculum is set up to be very structured. Our class essentially takes place on the private Facebook group which can only be accessed by Facebook members. Without access, you cannot ask questions, interact with your classmates, coaches, or post your assignments. These are just a few of the MANY reasons why we chose Facebook Private Group service as our forum. Not being a part of your class page makes participation in our curriculum impossible; and will result in your enrollment being cancelled. You can create a FB account JUST for the purposes of the class and then disable it if you choose. It is a free service.

I don’t use my real name on Facebook (alias, nickname etc)

That’s okay, but you must send an email to info@catchfireuniversity that includes the name you REGISTERED with and your FB name, so we know what class to add you to and who to give credit to for completing the assignments/course.

Do I really have to post a video?

YES. Every aspect of our curriculum has been designed to ensure that our students get the highest quality experience and results that they can! There are countless reasons we use this format, too many to list here, but here are a few. 1) If financial freedom is truly important to you, than learning to use the communication tool of the 21st century will be imperative. 2) It allows us to create an Interactive forum where you go through the experience together as a class rather than alone. Financial Freedom CANNOT be achieved alone, so why even start that way. 3) Expressing yourself verbally, and to the class, deepens the learning experience.

Can I email my assignments to you instead?

No. We realize that posting a video makes the majority of our students uncomfortable, and stretches their comfort zone which is exactly why we require our students to do it! Being uncomfortable is part of growth. If you trust in the process, you will experience phenomenal growth. Promise.

I’m having issues with Facebook uploading a Video on the Class Page?

One of the quickest solutions to this is to download either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. They are Internet Browsers that seem to work BEST when uploading videos onto Facebook.
